SERVICES
Square Inch Price
I charge 3 cents per square inch for all pantograph designs. This price INCLUDES the cost of the batting.
Example: A quilt top is 60 inches x 80 inches. 60 x 80 = 4800 x .03 = $144.

My minimum quilting charge is $50. This means that a small quilt or table runner's square inch price will be rounded up to the $50 minimum.

Batting
I use and stock my favorite Quilters Dream batting in the 80/20 cotton/poly natural blend and 100% white poly on a 93" wide roll. I can special order a variety of other Quilters Dream battings, but will need a little extra time to get them. Other options include: 100% cotton, wool, bamboo, angel select (flame retardant) and green select (made from recycled bottles). I can also get some of these in black.
80/20 batting and 100% poly batting is NOT a separate charge and is included in the square inch price. Any other batting will be an additional cost depending on the price from the manufacturer. If you choose a different batting (other than 80/20 or 100% poly), you will be charged $0.025 per square inch for quilting.

Thread
I stock Glide (#40 weight) threads. I don't charge any extra fees for thread use, it's included in your square inch price.

Bobbin thread is limited to white, lead grey, light grey, light tan, navy, and cream. I find that these choices work with most every quilt.
My personal style attempts to match or blend top thread color with the lighter areas of your quilt. I stock white, linen, light grey, lead grey, cream, light tan, military gold, navy, cotton candy, yellow whisper, tar heel and lilac. I have found that these "basic" colors seem to meet most every need.

But this is YOUR quilt! Let me know if you have a preference on thread color.

Backing Fabric
Please ensure that your backing is 8" longer and wider than your quilt top. I will need this extra fabric to attach your quilt to my longarm. I love a 1-piece wideback fabric, but feel free to piece your own backing making sure that it is 8" longer and wider than your quilt top. I will also piece your backing for you for an additional $20.
Trim
I have a large cutting table and will happily trim your quilt for no extra charge. I will return all significant fabric scraps to you and keep the extra batting. You may also choose to not have your quilt trimmed.
Binding Services
Level 1: $0.13 per linear inch - I will machine sew your prepared 2.5" binding to the back of your quilt.

Level 2: $0.25 per linear inch - I will machine sew your prepared 2.5" binding to the front and the back of your quilt.

Level 3: $0.75 per linear inch - I will prepare the 2.5" binding and machine sew it to both the back and front of your quilt.
Photography

I'm not a professional photographer but I do my best to take "nice" photos with my "good" camera! :) Upon completion of the quilting, I will take photos of your quilt in my well-lit studio and then text/email you those images to use however you would like. I'd just ask that you credit me for the photo and/or quilting if posting publicly. This extra service is included in your square inch price.
Shipping
I live in Upstate New York, USA, and would be happy to receive your top and backing by mail. I'd recommend sending your materials enclosed in some kind of bag to protect against possible moisture in transit and then placed in a hard-sided cardboard box. Make sure the box is securely taped and labeled clearly.
Return shipping: I will send your quilt back to you in the manner described above via USPS Priority mail (using flat rate when possible/economical). Priority mail comes with $50 of insurance and a tracking number but please indicate on your intake form if you would like me to buy any additional insurance on your behalf. It's a great idea to insure your valuables against loss or damage when working with the US Postal Service, but I don't require it.
Other Costs
I'm required by the State of New York to collect a 8% sales tax.
